Project Summary
Leading the way at OSU
As science and health technology continues to evolve and move forward, Harder Mechanical is at the forefront of construction at our higher education institutions. The Linus Pauling Science Center at Oregon State University is a leading example of how research facilities play a significant role in enhancing human health.
Harder Mechanical provided the complete mechanical installation of the 4-story, 100,000 sq. ft. building. Our construction team self-performed all facets of the plumbing and hydronics that included 74,000 linear feet of process piping. BIM was leveraged for clash detection that greatly enhanced the ability to install the specialty exhaust systems that are unique for the state-of-the-art laboratories, equipment, and suites that provide a rich environment for student collaboration and learning.
Harder’s safety record continued to excel as this project was completed on time with zero recordable injuries.
