The ilani project brought together an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) team of Mechanical, Electrical, and Sheet Metal trades to build this new, ground-up casino. The team co-located in a Big Room at Harder’s warehouse and collaboratively developed each of our scopes to optimize the sequence of how work would flow. The General Contractor applauded the spirit of cooperation and involved us in all scheduling considerations going forward.

On this project, Harder rolled out our new Lean toolbox approach, now used company-wide. We prefabricated as much pipe and ductwork off-site as possible and because we approached this project as a team, we were able to share forklifts, man-lifts, and all other equipment, drastically reducing on-site material and congestion.
